discussion of slurs, homophobia, transphobia
We saw a strange take on a discussion that sort of pisses us off.
So, slurs and systems. Obviously racial slurs are a no go, but someone wanted to extend that to things like homophobic slurs and....yeah, friend there is no way to do that without being incredibly homophobic or transphobic yourself.
One of the points they made was essentially 'if the body isn't doing it you arent really that sexuality'

really back to the 'you have to kiss 5 people to really be gay!!' discourse? back to invalidating closeted people or people who just want to wait or take it slow? or like aspec people? back to giving people shiny gold stars after their 4th kiss with someone, handing them their official homosexual card and inviting them into the club? what the fuck?

literally that whole argument is just...invalidating alters orientations. so they arent 'really gay' then? buddy. pal. there is no real justification for that argument. gay alters are still mega gay.
i think i sorta get the reasoning behind it but it doesnt mean that reasoning is in any way valid.
